In the year 2008 we have seen Pepper's greatest achievement - old, stiff, and yet he is still a winner in our hearts.  Ryker, age 5, ran him on the barrels at the Oakley Pioneer Days celebration.  He knew just what to do and he gave his all.  Pepper took the best care not to loose Ryker and guess he felt like he was coming out of a retirement home...one happy horse.

Dry Spec A Pepper is our red roan champion horse, one of the most popular in the Magic Valley.  Sired by NCHA Champion Dry Doc and out of a daughter of the great performance sire King Fritz.  He is bred to be a top performer and strong breeding stallion.  He is listed in the top 100 stallions.

Dry Spec A Pepper was the 1986 Eastern Idaho AQ Assn Senior Cutting Champion.  A daughter Casey Pepper was Idaho Youth Snaffle Bit Champion and a son was National Youth Champion.  Blue (Our Choice of Pepper) IMRA 1997 Champion Heeling Horse (Owned by Ron and Kathy Laumb) with winnings over $20,000.

Granddaughter Little Devil Hangin NCHA Futurity - one point out of the open finals, finalist in 50,000 Amateur, certificate of ability.  First place 1997 Utah Derby Winner of over $12,000.

Roxies Pepper Northwest Region Non-Pro Bridle Champion.  He has earnings of over $12,000.  "He's kind of a special individual", Smith said, "He's a real easy-going horse."  The stallion pocesses another desirable trait - he's proven to be durable.  He's not ever had a sore day.  And, he's sound in the mind - nothing excites him or gets him upset, ever.
