In the year 2008 we have seen Pepper's greatest achievement - old, stiff, and yet he is still a winner in our hearts. Ryker, age 5, ran him on the barrels at the Oakley Pioneer Days celebration. He knew just what to do and he gave his all. Pepper took the best care not to loose Ryker and guess he felt like he was coming out of a retirement home...one happy horse.
